GREAT FALLS – More details are emerging about a shootout involving Great Falls police this week. In an update, the department said the incident began during a routine traffic stop near 6th Avenue South, when two occupants ran off, prompting a brief foot chase that ended with multiple rounds of gunfire. 37-year-old Jacob Kain Bradley was shot in the head and is in critical condition. An officer was treated for non life threatening injuries. A second occupant of the vehicle was arrested, and authorities said charges are pending.
