Governor’s gay son speaks out about anti-LGBTQ laws

“Thanks for seeing me dad.” That’s how David Gianforte greeted Montana’s Republican governor, Greg Gianforte, who happens to be his father, as the 32 year old, who lives in Bozeman, addressed anti-LBGTQ legislation he says is “immoral, unjust, and frankly a violation of human rights.” David, who identifies as nonbinary and uses “he” and “they” pronouns, is the governor’s second oldest of four children. He says he hopes to bring more light to issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community, which he’s a part of.
