Billings stuck with paying uninsured drunk drivers property damage after crash

BILLINGS – A drunk drving incident in which an uninsured 28-year-old man crashed into the Billings Public Library last week is now going to cost the city more than a $100,000. Officials said they’re stuck paying for repairs after the motorist allegedly drove his van up a curb and between two beams, before slamming into the north entrance of the building on April 9. According to a news release, it is business as usual at the library.
