HELENA – The Montana Department of Justice hosted a Peace Officers Memorial Day Ceremony at the State Capitol Rotunda, honoring Montana law enforcement for their service. Officers, friends, family, and members of the community gathered at the state capital on Monday for the Peace Officers Memorial Day event. May 15th was proclaimed as Peace Officers Memorial Day in 1962, by Democratic President John F. Kennedy.
