Nearly century old Vigilante Day Parade drew big crowds

The 99th Vigilante Day Parade was a huge success. There were 88 student-made floats, with popular themes including past sports clubs, the wildfires that ravaged the city, and even the 1989 train explosion, as well as ranch-themed floats, with live animals. The parade started in 1924 and has been a tradition almost every year since. The only years the parade did not happen was during World War II and the COVID-19 Pandemic.
