A 41 year old Billings man convicted of child sexual assault in 2021 is going to jail for a very long time. Eric Joe Jaynes was sentenced recently [Thursday] in Yellowstone County District Court to 100 years in prison for raping a then 14-year-old girl and sending her more than 700 sexually charged messages via social media. Jaynes will not be eligible for parole until he has been in prison for at least 25 years.
