KALISPELL, Mont. – The Flathead Electric Co-op in northwest Montana is warning members of a new scam going around. Officials say residents are being contacted by someone claiming to be a Co-op employee threatening them with service dissconnection if they don’t pay an outstanding bill. Officials say it’s not Co-op policy to threaten members with immediate disconnect if there is a balance on their account. If you think you’ve been a victim of this con you’re urged to report it to local law enforcement.
