Lincoln man accepts plea deal in 2021 child sexual assault case

A Lincoln man has pleaded guilty to felony child sexual assault. Jared Wade Moles was originally charged with statutory rape alongside felony sexual assault after he was accused of touching a teenage girl intimately while she slept during a camping trip at Canyon Ferry Reservoir about two years ago. The 15-year-old girls mother reported the incident. Moles faces up to 100 years in prison when he’s sentenced on Sept. 5 in Lewis and Clark County.
