One person died and another was injured after they were hit by a vehicle in Great Falls Monday [July 17] on Central Avenue West at Sixth Street. Great Falls Police said the two pedestrians were struck by a pickup truck while trying to cross the busy intersection on a red light. Both were rushed to Benefis where one of the victims succombed to injuries sustained. The other victim was treated and released, the GFPD said in a news release.
