FLORENCE, Mont. – Search efforts continued Monday for a woman who went missing after a boating accident on the Bitterroot River over the weekend [July 8th]. According to the Ravalli County Sheriff’s office, a 26-year-old from out of town was kayaking when her watercraft overturned in a log jam near the Poker Joe Fishing Access Saturday. Authorities are reminding everyone that the Bitterroot River is still dangerous with the numerous log jams and obstructions in the river.
