UPDATE – A man was listed in stable condition Monday after being shot Saturday by someone he knew, according to an update from Helena police yesterday. Police said the victim allegedly forced his way into a residence on Gibbon Street, following an altercation between him, the shooter, and a woman who was the one who called police about the fight which erupted in gunfire. Officers learned all those involved were acquaintances, and the man who was shot had previously lived at the home, the update noted. The investigation is continuing, Helena police said.
