Viral video shows Montana State student being handcuffed by police

A video surfaced on social media of a Montana State student being handcuffed by police. According to Bozeman Police, an MSU officer stopped the cyclist for running a stop sign and as the situation appeared to escalate they called for assistance from the Bozeman Police. The video appears to show police and the cyclist arguing, which according to the chief is not standard procedure, however, the steps taken during the stop was very routine, he noted. The cyclist was given a citation but was not arrested.
