There’s a huge gap between supply and demand for Helena homes. According to the Helena Association of Realtors, it has been a very hot real estate market, but a limited inventory heading into the fall season, is a sure sign the market hasn’t changed from the trend we’ve experienced since COVID.
MEANWHILE…
Prices are surging too, analysts say, with data from the Montana Regional Multiple Listing Service showing the asking price for a single-family home in Helena rose more than 20% this year. In East Helena, a home you could get in 2019 for just under $240,000 will cost ya upwards of $365,000 this year. Similar patterns can be seen in other markets, as well, including Lewis and Clark County where home prices skyrocketed from $275,000 in 2019 to $365,000 in 2021.
