Employee of Helena-based homebuilder faces felony theft charges

An employee of a Helena-based homebuilder faces a felony theft charge in Lincoln County. Tylin Weber, who was hired on pre-release while serving a 10-year sentence for burglary, is accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of equipment from various construction jobsites beginning in February. Police found that Weber had pawned 63 items at five shops, mostly in Helena and Kalispell. He pleaded not guilty during his Oct. 25 arraignment and a pretrial hearing was set for Feb. 7, according to court documents.
