Missoula woman accepts plea deal in 2021 drug trafficking case

MISSOULA – A Missoula woman has accepted a plea deal after admitting to trafficking methamphetamine and fentanyl in 2021. Savannah Shoshana Smith, 37, pleaded guilty Tuesday and faces a mandatory minimum of five years to life in prison, a $5 million fine and at least four years of supervised release on the drug charge and a maximum of 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release on the firearms charge. Sentencing was set for Aug. 24.
