Relielf fund set up to support Helena non-profits affected by flooding

HELENA – Helena businesses are banning together to begin cleaning up after weekend flash floods devastated the area Sunday. A fast-moving storm sent a torrent of water down North Last Chance Gulch and other area streets, causing damage throughout the downtown area. Businesses reported water damage, and the storm took out trees, leaving mud and dirt in many areas in its wake.

MEANWHILE…

A relielf fund has been set up to support non-profits affected by the flooding. The Helena Area Emergency Relief Fund was put together by the Helena Area Community Foundation in partnership with the United Way of the Lewis and Clark area.
