Cleanup from June floods at Yellowstone grinds on

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) – The Yellowstone National Park is still cleaning up from June 12th flooding that swept away houses, wiped out bridges and forced the evacuation of more than 10,000 tourists, park employees and residents near the park. As a cleanup expected to last months grinds on, climate experts and meteorologists are now questiong whether the models used to predict storm impacts are keeping up with global warming trends. Experts say hydrologic models used to predict flooding are based on long-term, historical records, but do not reflect climate changes over the past decade.
