MISSOULA – A Sanders County man who is facing charges of conspiracy and international parental kidnapping pleaded not guilty when he appeared in a Missoula courtroom on Friday. The FBI reported on Thursday that Strong was arrested earlier this summer in Costa Rica on a US warrant, after he failed to return his 4-year-old son during a custodial exchange. The child has since been reunited with his mother. Strong has been detained pending further court proceedings. If convicted of the most serious charges, the 36-year-old faces a maximum of five years in prison.
