A western Montana woman is causing controversy after she took to social media, claiming she “smoked” a wolf pup in Flathead County with pictures to prove it, including one of the shot and skinned animal. The post is going viral on Facebook, and according to Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, the animal she hunted wasn’t a wolf, it was a dog she actually shot and killed near Martin City outside of Kalispell. The sheriff’s department has identified the pup perpatrator and FWP is now investigating.
