KALISPELL – Several dogs were recently picked up by people in the Doris Creek area and turned over to animal control, the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office reports. In all, 11 dogs, one of whom had been shot, were rescued and taken to the shelter. According to a news release, the Sheriff’s Office has identified the person believed to have shot one of the abandoned dogs and the investigation is ongoing.
