Thanksgiving is one of the busiest times of the year on area roads, and AAA predicts that nearly 55 million people are expected to travel for Thanksgiving, with nearly 09 percent packing up the car and hittin’ the road. Overall, travel is up from last year, and very close to its pre-pandemic volume. According to AAA data, expect traffic to be the heaviest the Wednesday afternoon before Thanksgiving.
