A Townsend man convicted in 2021 of child sexual assault will be spending the next two decades behind bars. Christopher Hogeweide was sentenced in Broadwater County recently [Jan. 6] to 20 years in the Montana State Prison, after pleading guilty to one count of felony sexual assault of a minor. The 39 year old is accused of having inappropriate sexual contact multiple times with a young girl starting in 2015, according to court records.
