Havre Public Schools’ is working to reduce it’s carbon footprint

HAVRE – Havre Public Schools’ is working to reduce it’s carbon footprint and minimize it’s ecological impact. HPS was awarded a grant for the purchase of two entirely electric buses, which officials say have proven to be cost efficient and carbon emmissions free. These are the first fully-electric buses to be used in Montana, according to service reports, but officials say they anticipate the e-bus trend to reach surrounding towns as well. The city said it won’t replace its entire fleet with electric buses.
