Helena man accused of plotting to ‘blow up’ or ‘shoot up’ Helena Public School pleads not guilty

A Helena man accused of plotting to ‘blow up’ or ‘shoot up’ a Helena Public School was arraigned Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Great Falls on federal charges, officials said. Logan Sea Pallister pleaded not guilty to an indictment, stemming from an incident in which the 24 year old talked of carrying out a mass shooting at Helena High School and showed a witness that he was also making bombs to use in the school on May 30. Pallister also still faces state charges and is scheduled to go on trial in Lewis and Clark County on Feb. 27.
