The four-day trial of Stephen Eric Walks of Helena ended with a jury finding him guilty of child statutory rape. He was convicted Thursday in Lewis and Clark County’s District Court, stemming from an investigation in which he’s accused of inappropriately touching two children under the age of 12 multiple times in 2020. A sentencing hearing for the 58 year old is set for April 4.
