Helena Food Share is working to meet the growing need for food assistance in the community. The organization says they have seen an alarming increase in the need for food assistance from nearly all household income levels. To fill this need, the non-profit is raising funds to construct a new 20,000-square-foot community food resource and distribution center, and is hopeful that the remaining $2.8 million needed will come from the community through one-time gifts and pledges.
