Historical cemetery north of Helena continues cleaning up several months after powerful windstorm

Staff at the Forestvale Cemetery north of Helena continues cleaning up several months after a powerful windstorm, toppled dozens of trees and caused heavy damage to some gravestones and other property. Forestvale’s supervisor said workers are now removing the last a half-dozen or so trees. He said the county has spent nearly $16,000 in cleanup efforts so far at the historic Forestvale cemetery, where several former governors, Montana political and civic leaders, and the actress Myrna Loy are laid to rest.
