Helena is working to save lives. The city is the first in Montana to install vending machines with Naloxone, AKA NARCAN, which reverses a drug overdose. Lewis and Clark County officials said they made the decision to install the vending machines after studying the data on the misuse of opioids and fentanyl. The Helena Naloxone vending machines are located in the Law and Justice Center, the Department of Criminal Justice Services’, and at Good Samaritan’s Our Place Drop-In Center.
