Mushrooms likely culprit in foodborne illness that sickened at least 30 people

Mushrooms are the suspected culprit tied to a foodborne illness that sickened at least 30 people who ate at Dave’s Sushi in Bozeman recently. In an update Wednesday the Montana Department of Health confirms the outbreak is associated with eating at Dave’s Sushi between March 31 and April 17. Two people died after eating at the now closed restaurant, but the release noted that their causes of death are pending autopsy results. State and federal agencies, along with local health departments are continuing to investigate the exact cause of the outbreak.
