Rocky Mountain Emergency Services Training gets multi-million dollar upgrades

Rocky Mountain Emergency Services Training has some new gear. Last year, The center received a federal grant that went toward $6 million in upgrades, as well as some new aircraft. This year, they received an additional grant for two new fire trucks, which they tested out in simulations Thursday, according to the Helena Regional Airport Director. With all the new additions, they’re able to help train other airport staff around the U.S., and parts of Canada, that might not have access to fire training facilities like the one in Helena, he noted.
