Charges have been upgraded for Helena teen arrested for stabbing a man

UPDATE: Charges have been upgraded for the 18 year old suspect arrested for stabbing a man multiple times at a Gibbon Street residence last Friday [May 5]. According to an update from the HPD, Jamison Collins, 18, of Helena, was facing one count of assault, but his charges have since been amended to attempted deliberate homicide, stemming from the incident in which he and another man were arguing when Collins allegedly got a knife and assaulted him, according to a HPD Facebook post. Collins remains in the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.
