Oral arguments will be heard July 6 for a wrongful termination lawsuit filed by a former St. Peter’s Health oncologist. A status conference was held last week [Friday] in Lewis and County District Court in the case of Dr. Thomas Weiner vs. St. Peter’s Health. Weiner, who had been with St. Peter’s for nearly 25 years, sued the hospital after he was fired in 2020 for allegedly treating a patient for lung cancer for 11 years before it was determined they didn’t have the disease. The trial could be held in either Missoula or Helena.
