A heavily amended Republican sponsored bill will ban gender-affirming care for transgender minors. House Bill 113, sponsored by Republican Rep. John Fuller, of Whitefish passed the Montana House Judiciary Committee Friday morning, with all seven Democrats, and one Republican voting against the bill which prohibits doctors from referring patients seeking surgery or hormones for the purpose of assisting in gender transition.
