The reward for information leading to an arrest in the fatal shooting of a saddle mule last week just off the Eastside Highway is now over $6,500. The mule, Big D, was killed sometime on Feb. 25 or Feb. 26, according to a press release. A Missoula business owner, a sportsmen’s group and individuals have donated toward a reward fund. Anyone with information about the shooting should contact the Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers.
