A Helena man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother and stepfather last week. Law enforcement responded to Flaxstem Street on June 18 for reports of a domestic dispute, and found both victims at the residence covered in blood. The couple identified Daniel Michael Bennett as the one who beat them up after they said he came home from a fishing trip highly intoxicated and was arguing with his mother. Both victims are in their 60s. The 41 year old son is facing domestic violence charges.
