New open-air markent on outskirts of Helena aims to help small businesses

A new open-air market made its debut on the outskirts of Helena over the Memorial Day weekend. Located off McHugh Drive, Sleeping Giant Public Market is the brain child of a trio of business owners looking to help small businesses impacted by the COVID shutdown sell their products and make up for the losses they suffered. While Saturday’s market featured upwards of 20 vendors, organizers say they intend to expand the property making room for up to 100 vendors. Visit their website at sleepinggiantpublicmarket.com or their Facebook page to become a vendor.
