Helena car wash worker lost leg in work related incident

A 46-year-old employee at a Helena car wash lost his leg in a work related incident, a fire official said Wednesday. The Helena Fire Department was called to Woody’s Carwash Tuesday afternoon and officials said a tourniquet had been applied after the worker’s lower leg was severed when it got caught in a piece of equipment. The victim was taken to St. Peter’s Health.
