Neighbors hailed heroes for saving elderly Helena man from burning home

A mother and her two sons are being hailed heroes after they pulled an elderly neighbor from his burning home. The Helena Fire Department said in a statement on Monday that the 70 year old became trapped in the Joslyn Street manufactured home which became engulfed in flames early Monday, and the brave trio were able to safely remove the victim. He was rushed to St. Peter’s hospital with severe burns. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
